Season's Greetings.

My Ph. D. thesis proposal has been approved by the Ph. D. committee and I will soon get the registration letter from the University of Calcutta.

An International Seminar on the topic Imperial Constructions and Indigenous Self-fashioning will be held on 10th and 11th January 2006 at Derozio Hall, Presidency College, Kolkata. The seminar is organised by the Department of English, University of Calcutta.

St. Anthony's High School's annual concert, held on 20th and 21st December 2005 at Vidya Mandir auditorium, Kolkata, was a grand success. The highlight of the function was the Anthonian Drama Club's play called Bridges scripted and directed by Mr. Steve Menezes.
